Letter: Time for new ideas in politics

Donald Trump has changed politics as we know it in our country. It seems to me that a new approach is necessary for this next election. It is time for fresh ideas. The status quo has had plenty of time to stabilize our politics. Instead of backbiting and criticism let’s rally around new people with new ideas. A sunset time frame instead of perpetual war is certainly in the best interests of our country and our young warriors.
