The Nation's Weather for Thursday, February 13, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm system will continue to bring snow to the Great

Lakes and interior Northeast tomorrow. Closer to the coast,

plain rain is expected. Enough warm and unstable air is

expected to be in place along the Southeast coast for

thunderstorms to form. In the wake of the departed system,

brutally cold air will encompass much of the Midwest. A

storm system tracking through the Pacific is expected to

bring a return of wet weather to the Pacific Northwest.

Aside from the wet weather in the Northwest, the rest of the

Western states are expected to be dry as an area of high

pressure will promote seasonable temperatures, sunny skies

and settled conditions.
