White Wisconsin lawmaker drops Black History Month proposal
MADISON, WIs. (AP) — A white Wisconsin lawmaker facing criticism for drawing up a Black History Month resolution honoring white abolitionists abruptly dropped the proposal Tuesday, saying he wants to preserve his relationship with black legislators.
