Legal Notice The Bureau of Reclamation in cooperation with Washington State Parks will permanently close a beach area located in Steamboat Rock State Park in order to provide resource protection. The closure will take place on January 1, 2021. Washington State Parks will clearly post the closure with signage and enforce it through officer patrols. City of Moses Lake Notice of Public Hearing, Application Optional DNS New Cingular Wireless has submitted an application for a conditional use permit (CUP), variance, and SEPA on October 26, 2020 for the installation of a new 45' Monopole with 12 antennas, 18 RRHs and associated equipment. Which include cables, an equipment shelter, along with a generator with in a 20'x20' fenced lease area in the C1 commercial zone. This will be located at 401 W. Broadway. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on Oct. 30, 2020. Moses Lake Hearing Examiner held a public hearing to consider the application on December 8, 2020. The applicant requested the hearing to be postponed and is being re-noticed for January 12, 2021. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. The DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. No adverse environmental impacts have been identified, so no mitigating conditions have been identified as necessary through SEPA. The project review process may include additional mitigation measures under applicable codes. Written comments on this project proposal from public agencies with jurisdiction will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Dec 31, 2020. A public hearing is scheduled before the Moses Lake Hearing Examiner to be held virtually via Zoom Webinars at 10:00am on January 12, 2021.
