Legal Notice The Bureau of Reclamation in cooperation with Washington State Parks will permanently close a beach area located in Steamboat Rock State Park in order to provide resource protection. The closure will take place on January 1, 2021. Washington State Parks will clearly post the closure with signage and enforce it through officer patrols. City of Moses Lake Notice of Application Notice of Optional DNS Notice of Public Hearing Maple Grove Planned Unit Development: Hayden Homes LLC. submitted an application on August 12, 2020 for a 91-lot Planned Unit Development and Major Plat in an R2- Residential zone. The subject property is located on Grape Dr., near Maple Dr in a portion of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of S 10, T19, R28. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review December 14, 2020. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 17: Subdivisions, Title 18: Zoning, and Title 20: Development Regulations. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Comments on the environmental aspects of this project must be submitted to the project planner by January 4, 2021. A public hearing is tentatively scheduled for February 9, 2021 at 10:00 am before the Hearing Examiner. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and provide comment. The hearing will be held remotely, information on how to gain access to the hearing will be on the city's website www.cityofml.com. Written comments on other aspects of this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 PM on February 9, 2021. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals.
