Syracuse holds off Northeastern behind Girard's 21 points

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Joseph Girard III scored 21 points, Quincy Guerrier had 18 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, and Syracuse held off shorthanded Northeastern 62-56 on Wednesday.
