NATIONAL SUMMARY

A major winter storm will bring heavy snow to Pennsylvania

and West Virginia tomorrow. Lighter snow is expected to

blanket central and southern Ohio. Farther south, ice can

glaze areas in western Virginia and western North Carolina.

Heavy rain will soak eastern Virginia and central and

eastern North Carolina. Meanwhile, thunderstorms are

forecast to rumble across southern Georgia and northern and

central Florida. Some of the thunderstorms in the central

Florida Peninsula may be strong. Elsewhere, a new storm will

deliver drenching rain to western Washington, western Oregon

and northwestern California. Snow will spread into the

Cascades. A few flurries or a bit of light snow is expected

in western Wyoming.
