The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, December 15, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm system will move out of the Rockies and into the

central Plains tomorrow, dropping snow along its path. After

just dealing with accumulating snowfall in Oklahoma and

Kansas, another round of light to moderate snowfall

accumulations are expected. Wet and snowy weather will also

continue to target the Northwest as yet another storm system

comes ashore. Largely dry and chilly air will set up across

the northern tier of the country spanning from the northern

Plains into the Midwest and the Northeast. The dry weather

will also extend south into the mid- and Deep South as well.

Much of the Southwest can expect seasonably chilly air as

well, although it will remain mainly sunny which will help

it feel a bit warmer.
