Maricela Rivera Hernandez
Maricela "Marcie" Rivera Hernandez was unexpectedly called home on Dec. 3, 2020.
Marcie was born Feb. 23, 1980, in Othello, Washington, to Antonio and Teresa Hernandez. She was a lifelong resident of Moses Lake, Washington. She graduated from Columbia Basin Alternative High School in 1999.
Marcie enjoyed listening to music, daily coffee drinks, tending to her flowers, decorating her home and going on drives. She had a vast collection of makeup and perfumes. She enjoyed pampering herself and keeping up with the latest beauty trends.
More than anything, Marcie enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved. She valued her family and friends. More than anything she loved spending time with James.
Marcie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Gustino and Concepcion Hernandez and her maternal grandparents Nicolas and Maria Rivera.
Marcie is survived by her parents Antonio and Teresa Hernandez; siblings Cesar, Nancy and Brandon Hernandez; children Marissa Hernandez, Victor Noriega Jr., Julian and Jayden Herrera, and Anevaye Rivera; grandchildren Naryaih Hernandez, Xzavian Garcia and Baby K Maricela, and loving husband James Rivera.
Marcie's faith maintained her during her best and troubling times. She would often say "Always have faith" or "Leave it to God." Undoubtedly Marcie loved genuinely and was always supportive of others. Marcie had a beautiful smile that lit up the room and laughter that was contagious.
A memorial will be Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at 5 p.m. at 1018 Northwest Lane. Please follow Covid distancing rules. For more details, please look up Marcie Memorial Facebook Page.
