Beverly man's death ruled a homicide

BEVERLY — The death of a Beverly man whose body was found Tuesday has been ruled a homicide, according to a press release from the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison said the victim was Yoni Samuel Aguilar, 36. An autopsy determined Aguilar died of a gunshot wound to the head, the GCSO press release stated.

Aguilar’s body was found about 5:45 a.m. Dec. 8 near a home in the 17300 block of Pasco Street Southwest.

Detectives with Grant County Major Crimes are asking people with information on the homicide to contact dispatch, at 509-762-1160, or send information to crimetips@grantcountywa.gov. People with information can remain anonymous, according to the GCSO press release.
