NATIONAL SUMMARY

A large area of snow will blanket the central and southern

Rockies tomorrow. Farther east, rain will fall in the warmer

air in Missouri, Illinois, central and southern Iowa,

eastern Kansas, eastern Oklahoma and eastern Texas.

Thunderstorms are expected to rumble across Arkansas,

northwestern Louisiana and southeastern Texas, especially

during the afternoon hours. Showers will move ashore and

dampen western Washington and western Oregon, with snow

forecast in the higher elevations of the Cascades. Rain will

take aim at northwestern California, but the rest of the

West Coast will be dry. A dry day will be featured up and

down the Eastern Seaboard from Maine to Florida and

temperatures will not be as low as recent days.
