Venezuela’s Maduro claims sweep of boycotted election
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s political alliance claimed a sweeping victory Monday in congressional elections boycotted by the most influential opposition politicians and widely criticized internationally as being fraudulent.
