Adin Steinsaltz, groundbreaking Talmud translator, dies
JERUSALEM (AP) — Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz, a prolific Jewish scholar who spent 45 years compiling a monumental and ground-breaking translation of the Talmud, has died. He was 83.
