_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Dry weather with at least partial sunshine is forecast to
stretch from Florida to Maine as an area of high pressure
settles along the East coast tomorrow. The air will
moderate slightly from the brisk levels felt at midweek
along this corridor. Meanwhile, a storm system will track
eastward across the South, spreading showers and storms
across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky
and western Alabama. Cold air on the northwest flank of the
storm will allow for snow or a rain and snow mix from
portions of eastern Kansas and Oklahoma to Missouri. Cold,
dry conditions are forecast behind the storm across the
Southwest and southern Plains. The Pacific Coast will remain
dry with windy weather keeping the fire danger high across
