NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow will fall in much of western and upstate New York
tomorrow. Meanwhile, a strengthening storm will bring rain
and thunderstorms to eastern Texas and western Louisiana.
Farther north, a soaking rain is expected in eastern
Oklahoma and western Arkansas. In the colder air, rain will
mix with snow in a swath from western Oklahoma to eastern
Kansas. Accumulating snow will fall in western Kansas,
spreading eastward into central Kansas overnight. Snow
showers will dot the higher elevations of Colorado and
northern New Mexico. Much of the rest of the nation is
forecast to be dry. Santa Ana winds will affect Southern
California. The strong winds and low humidity will raise the
risk for fires.
