Odessa Deutschesfest called off due to coronavirus

The board of directors of the Odessa Deutschesfest has announced that the festival has been canceled for this year. On the festival's website, the board said that the chance of obtaining all the permits necessary was slim, and that the board considered the health of the community in the decision.

The 50th Deutschesfest is scheduled for Sept. 16-19, 2021.
