Minneapolis Police Department overhauls use of force policy

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minneapolis Police Department's use of force policy is being overhauled to require officers to consider all reasonable alternatives before engaging in deadly force and use the least amount of force necessary to safely handle a situation, the city's mayor and police chief said Wednesday.
