Nebraska Democrats endorse replacement for embattled nominee

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska Democratic Party leaders have endorsed a former congressman to run as a write-in candidate for the U.S. Senate if their scandal-plagued nominee refuses to withdraw, party officials said Tuesday.
