The Republican National Convention kicked off Monday, Aug. 24 with President Trumps formal nomination for a second term and runs through Thursday, Aug. 27. Activities are planned from 8:30-11 p.m. ET throughout the week. Melania Trump is the key speaker Tuesday night. She’ll make the case for her husband’s reelection from the newly renovated White House Rose Garden. Vice President Mike Pence will address the RNC Wednesday from Baltimore’s Fort McHenry. President Trump plans to give his formal acceptance speech from the White House South Lawn on Thursday. Timings of the speeches have not yet been released.
