The Republican National Convention runs Thursday, Aug. 27. Republicans began their first day’s proceedings in Charlotte, North Carolina, where delegates formally nominated President Trump for another term. Evening activities are planned 8:30-11 p.m. ET throughout the week. Monday night the president’s son, Donald Trump, Jr., is among the featured speakers. Melania Trump will speak Tuesday night from the White House Rose Garden. Vice President Mike Pence will address the RNC Wednesday from Baltimore’s Fort McHenry. President Trump plans to give his formal acceptance speech from the White House South Lawn on Thursday. Timings of the key speeches have not yet been released.
