Democrats wrapped up their convention Thursday, after four nights of virtual programming. The attention now shifts to next week’s Republican National Convention.
Republicans will hold their first day’s proceedings on Monday, Aug. 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where delegates will vote to renominate President Trump. Melania Trump will speak Tuesday from the White House Rose Garden. Vice President Mike Pence will address the RNC Wednesday. The president plans to give his formal acceptance speech from the White House on Thursday. Details and timings of the key speeches, along with other RNC events, have not yet been released
