Othello man injured in car accident

RICHLAND — An Othello man was injured when his car ran into another car near Richland on Aug. 14.

Michael Bona, 39, was driving east on I-182 at the Richland city limits when his vehicle ran into a car driven by Kathleen Crawford, 57, Basin City, according to a press memo from Washington State Patrol. Crawford slowed for traffic and Bona ran into her, the WSP memo said. The accident occurred about 3:30 p.m.

Bona and Crawford were transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. A passenger in Crawford’s vehicle, Jennifer Crawford, 19, of Basin City, also was transported to Kadlec.

Bona was charged with second-degree negligent driving. Both vehicles were totaled.
