Coronavirus: 57 cases in Adams County during last week

RITZVILLE — Adams County Health District officials reported 57 new cases of coronavirus in the county between Aug 11 and 17.

As of Aug. 17, four people were hospitalized. The number of deaths associated with the outbreak hasn’t changed - four people have died due to the disease and one person died from complications associated with coronavirus.

Othello reported 47 new cases; there were eight new cases in Ritzville and two new cases in Hatton.

As of Aug. 17, Adams County had 462 cases, with 445 in Othello. Eighty tests were pending, and 2,816 tests had been performed in Adams County.
