Anderson defeats GOP candidate who dropped out after arrest
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Justin Anderson, a lieutenant colonel in the Connecticut Army National Guard, emerged as the winner Tuesday following a recount in a Republican congressional primary in which his opponent dropped out of the race following a domestic violence arrest.
