Cooper wins key ruling in COVID-19 legal fight with Forest
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper won another legal victory defending his COVID-19 executive orders on Tuesday, this time when a judge rejected Lt. Gov. Dan Forest's demand that they be blocked by declaring his lawsuit is unlikely to succeed.
