REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS For Accounting Services GTA RFP No. 20-02 The Grant County Public Transportation Benefit Area d/b/a Grant Transit Authority ("GTA") is seeking proposals from qualified accounting personnel or firms to provide professional accounting services covering all aspects of the transit agency's business operations, including day to day financial transactions, payroll, budgeting and preparation of annual reports. GTA is a public transportation benefit area located and operating primarily in Grant County, Washington. To be assured consideration, proposals in hard copy and electronic format must be received in the GTA office as specified below by 4:30 pm (PDT) on September 4, 2020. A non-responsive or incomplete proposal will not be considered. GTA will make the RFP packet available to requesting contractors by e-mail (free of charge) or by regular U.S. Mail (fee charged). If a contractor requests the RFP packet by regular U.S. Mail, a $40.00 RFP fee must be paid by the contractor to GTA in advance, and GTA Shall not mail the RFP packet to the contractor until said fee is fully paid. Any contractor request or inquiry should contain the name, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address (if any) of the proposing contractor and its representative. All costs incurred in preparing and submitting a proposal in response to this RFP shall be at the proposing contractor's sole risk and expense, and GTA shall not be liable for the payment or reimbursement thereof. GTA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and the right to amend, modify or discontinue the RFP at any time. DBE's are encouraged to submit a proposal.
