QUINCY — Quincy police are looking for an unidentified gunman they believe shot a man several times near a trailer park in Quincy.

The police are looking for a male, age 20-30, wearing glasses, a baseball cap, white T-shirt and black pants, who had reportedly shot a second man in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast around midnight Thursday.

The police had responded to a report from Quincy Valley Medical Center at 12:24 a.m. Friday of an adult male with gunshot wounds. A post on the department’s Facebook page said the victim told police that the shooting may be gang-related.

The victim was transported to a Wenatchee hospital and was last reported in stable condition.

Quincy police officers checked the location and found several 9mm shell casings on the ground as well as several nearby vehicles that had been damaged by gunfire.

Anyone with any information on the shooting is encouraged to contact the Quincy Police Department at 509-787-4718.
