NATIONAL SUMMARY
Isaias will continue pushing northward tomorrow and track
along the Southeast coast from Georgia to South Carolina
throughout the day. Heavy rain and gusty winds will spread
along these costal areas from the early morning onward.
Isolated tornadoes will be possible for portions of the
eastern Carolinas as the rain bands from Isaias reach
farther north. Showers and thunderstorms will soak the Ohio
Valley and Great Lakes as another cold front swings through
the region. Farther west, afternoon thunderstorms will fire
up east of the Rockies and push eastward into the Plains
overnight. Cooler and more comfortable air will sweep into
the Pacific Northwest, while unseasonably warm conditions
persist for the Desert Southwest.
