Hospital ship leaving New York City as virus cases decline

NEW YORK (AP) — A Navy hospital ship is leaving New York City on Thursday, a month after it was sent to relieve stress on hospitals at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. Mayor Bill de Blasio said 100,000 city workers will be assigned to patrol parks and public spaces and pass out free masks.
