NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm system tracking across the country will continue to

produce a wide swath of wet weather tomorrow. Showers and a

few rumbles of thunder will target the Midwest and Ohio

Valley, while farther south, severe thunderstorms are

expected to target portions of the mid-South, Southeast and

lower Mississippi River Valley. While the storm system will

eventually track off the Atlantic Coast, most of the East

Coast can expect dry weather to continue. Wet weather will

exit out of the Plains, but gusty winds will accompany the

back side of the departed storm system. With the exception

of seasonable temperatures and a bit of rain across the

Pacific Northwest, most of the western United States will

sit under a dome of high pressure that will continue to

promote summerlike temperatures.
