Adams County filing dates set
RITZVILLE — The Adams County Auditor’s Office has announced the candidacy filing dates for 2020. Offices up for election include two county commissioner positions, for District No. 1 and District No. 2, and Adams County Superior Court judge. There are also precinct committee officer positions available.
Anyone wishing to file for a commissioner position must file in person from Monday, May 11, to Friday, May 15, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Adams County Auditor’s Office, 210 W. Broadway Ave., Suite 200, in Ritzville. If the courthouse is still closed due to the COVID-19 mandates, candidates must make an appointment for a staff member to open the courthouse door. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 509-659-3249 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

All declarations of candidacy must be made by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 15. Those filing must be a registered voter in the state of Washington.
