Virus: High court denies prisoners' request for release
SEATTLE (AP) — A divided Washington Supreme Court on Thursday denied a request to release thousands of inmates from the state's prisons due to the coronavirus outbreak after hearing oral arguments earlier in the day in their separate chambers using Zoom technology to facilitate social distancing.
