NATIONAL SUMMARY

A storm system will target the Northeast tomorrow and as it

sweeps through, showers, thunderstorms, strong wind gusts

and even a bit of snow across the interior is expected. A

separate, weaker disturbance tracking through the Desert

Southwest will spark showers and a few thunderstorms from

the Four Corners region into the central Plains. Dry and

seasonable conditions are expected across much of the South,

giving flooded rivers in the area a chance to recede. Much

of the northern tier of the country will remain dry as well.

Much of the Midwest, northern Plains and interior Northwest

will remain quiet. A few passing showers will begin to

target the coastal Pacific Northwest late in the day as a

storm system approaches.
