No new COVID-19 cases in Grant County
GRANT COUNTY — There were 143 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Grant County as of Monday evening, with the Grant County Health District reporting no new cases of COVID-19 in Grant County since Sunday.
That means the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Grant County remained unchanged since Sunday.
‘The coming months will bring slow, measured relaxation of our physical distancing interventions. Even with a slow, phased re-opening of the state, we are likely to see COVID-19 spike,” the health district warned in a news release posted on its Twitter and Facebook feeds.
While treatments may be developed, the GCHD warned that “we are still at least 12-18 months from a vaccine.”
There are also 27 “probable” cases, up from 18 on Sunday, which include people with symptoms of the virus who have had close contact with a person known to have been sickened with COVID-19. Eight people sickened with the novel coronavirus are currently hospitalized.
