Aide: Lt. Gov. Forest uses campaign money for COVID-19 help
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Lt. Gov. Dan Forest has given nearly $200,000 from his gubernatorial campaign fund to people and businesses needing assistance due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, according to his campaign committee.
