NATIONAL SUMMARY

Rain will end early tomorrow morning along the Northeast and

mid-Atlantic coasts as a storm heads out to sea. Dry,

breezy conditions will sweep in behind the storm with

temperatures remaining 5-10 degrees below normal. An area of

high pressure will promote rain-free weather for the Ohio,

Mississippi and Tennessee valleys. Showers and

thunderstorms will generally remain confined along the

Interstate 10 corridor from Texas to Florida. A few of the

storms in Texas could turn locally heavy and gusty. Stray

showers will sweep through northern Minnesota as milder air

returns to the central Plains. Spotty rain and snow showers

are forecast mainly in the high terrain of the West, with

most of the region expected to stay dry.
