County announces partial reopening of landfill

EPHRATA — The Grant County landfill will reopen to some customers on Friday, April 17, commissioners announced. The landfill will only reopen during normal hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, to businesses with charge accounts. The landfill will not be taking cash.

Businesses that would like a charge account can go to the Public Works website at grantcountywa.gov/GCPW/HTM/Solid-Waste.htm for an application.

For general use, the landfill will still be closed to the public.
