MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake residents will be allowed to drop off tree and shrub trimmings April 11-19 at the Paul Lauzier Athletic Complex, 933 Central Drive. The field is across Central Drive from The Home Depot.
It’s an alternative to the city’s “curbside chipper” program, which was suspended in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Tree branches and shrub trimmings must be no more than four inches in diameter. Grass clippings, stumps or root balls, leaves, wrapped or bagged material are prohibited. Any metal, such as nails or wire, won’t be accepted.
City officials will end the program early if rules are not followed, according to a city press release.
