Fatal traffic accident Sunday morning in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY — Kristen Icenogle, 52, of Kettle Falls, died in a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 395 near milepost 70 in Adams County just after 10:15 a.m. Sunday, according to a report by Washington State Patrol.

Icenogle was heading south on 395 when her vehicle left the road on the inside shoulder before overcorrecting, sending the vehicle into a roll and then coming to rest on the southbound shoulder.

No other vehicles were involved. The report indicates that the driver was not wearing her seat belt. It was unknown whether Icenogle was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to the accident report.
