The Nation's Weather for Saturday, April 4, 2020

_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

Showers and heavy thunderstorms will continue to target

portions of central Texas tomorrow along a stalled out storm

system in place. Showers and a few storms will also affect

portions of the lower and mid-Mississippi River Valley and

Great Lakes as well. A separate storm system will barrel

into the West Coast, bringing beneficial rain to California

and Oregon. The coastal storm that has pestered New England

will begin tracking farther away from the coast, giving way

to drier conditions. A stiff onshore breeze courtesy of the

coastal storm will continue to bring rough surf along most

of the East Coast. Across the interior Northeast,

mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and mid-South, above-average

temperatures are expected to build up as a ridge of high

pressure settles into the area.
