Kentucky governor vetoes voter ID bill

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear on Friday vetoed a bill pushed by Republican lawmakers to require Kentucky residents to show a government-issued photo ID in order to vote.
