Letter: Papa John’s Pizza steps up for kids
There are a lot of great examples of people in our community stepping up and standing out during these challenging times. I would like to take this opportunity to recognize John and Angel Soler and their crew at Papa John’s Pizza in Moses Lake. Recognizing that many kids in our community rely on school meal programs, now that school is suspended, Papa John’s has partnered with Boys and Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin to give a free slice of pizza to every child 18 years and younger at the clubhouse weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m. They did this daily during the week of March 23 and are going to do it again during the week of March 30. Thank you to John, Angel and your crew at Papa John’s Pizza for your awesome generosity!
