MOSES LAKE — Four men were arrested and nearly four pounds of drugs were recovered by Moses Lake police Friday afternoon after a series of search warrants were served in the 1100 block of West Market Street and the 1100 block of West Marina Drive.
Juvenal Herrera Mata, 28, was arrested and booked for possession with intent to deliver. Lourdes Martinez Jaimes, 33, was booked for possession with intent to deliver. Miguel Macias, 26, was booked for possession of cocaine. Reyes Martinez Herrera, 25, was booked for criminal impersonation for allegedly using falsified documents to obtain employment.
Detectives with the Moses Lake Street Crimes unit served the drug search warrants Friday afternoon, recovering a total of about 3.8 pounds of heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine. Additionally, about $6,000 and two vehicles were seized as part of the investigation.
The warrants were the result of an investigation by the Street Crimes Detectives over the last couple of months.
“The service of the warrants was complicated when detectives traveling between warrant sites came upon a carjacking in progress and arrested two other men,” the Moses Lake Police Department wrote in a statement. “Other than that, the warrants were served without incident.”
About two pounds of heroin, one and a quarter pounds of meth and nine ounces of cocaine were reportedly seized during the raids.
