Notice of Application - Date of Notice: October 15, 2019 Notice is hereby given that Grant County has received a SEPA checklist from Skone and Connors Produce Inc. (Designated Contact: Mark Jones, Skone and Connors Produce Inc., PO Box 339, Warden, WA, 98857) and determined the application to be technically complete on October 10, 2019. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. DESCRIPTION: The project proposes to construct a three (3) million gallon irrigation pond for agricultural use. LOCATION: The project site is located approximately eight miles northeast of Royal City lying adjacent to State Highway 262 and east of the intersection of SR 262 E and County Road C SE. The proposal is on Farm Unit 36, Block 80, Columbia Basin Irrigation Project in Section 15, Township 17 North, Range 27 East, WM, Grant County, WA. (Parcel #21-0027-000).
