OTHELLO CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Othello will hold a Public Hearing to adopt a new chapter, 12.44 Irrigation Water, adopt a new section 12.04.120 Irrigation Water, and Amend 1.20, 12.04, 12.16, 12.40 on Monday, June 3, 2019 shortly after 6:30 p.m. The Public Hearing will be held in the Othello Council Chambers located at 500 East Main Street, Othello, Washington. CITY OF OTHELLO, WASHINGTON ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS LEE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION 7TH AVENUE TO 14TH AVENUE Sealed bids will be received by the City of Othello, Washington, at City Hall located at 500 E Main Street, Othello, WA 99344 until 1:00 PM. on June 13, 2019 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below: This project will provide the full depth pulverization of the existing roadway, regrading, reclamation with cement treated base, and 6 inches of HMA surfacing, as well as the following: Re-striping Installation of double culvert All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City. Plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost via electronic transmission from the City of Othello. Paper copies of the plans and specifications may also be obtained from the City at the above address for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. Plans and specifications can be requested by responding to this email, or by calling the Contact person listed below during normal business hours. Copies of plans and specifications are on file for review at various construction councils. All bidders shall call 509-331-2711 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, whether or not they request a hard copy or obtain a digital copy of the Specifications. Bids received from bidders who are not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive.
