October 2, 1959 – April 15, 2019

Virginia Ann (Minks) Noa, 59, a resident of Othello, Washington passed away quietly in her sleep the morning of Monday, April 15, 2019.

Virginia was born Oct. 2, 1959 to John D. and Marjorie I. (McGee) Minks in Wenatchee, Washington. Virginia was the fourth of four children, and the only daughter of the family. Although living a full life, Virginia suffered with multiple chronic illnesses during her lifetime. The cause of her death is undetermined.

Virginia was gifted with insight and a keen sense of intuition that allowed her to help her friends and family through their toughest life situations. She bestowed unconditional love and support and remained non-judgmental in any situation. She was a constant source of positive reinforcement, reminding everyone of their innate worth, attributes and abilities. She comforted countless people during her lifetime.

Virginia had a lifelong love of animals. Even as a little girl, she collected various animals to care for. Throughout her life she had various cats, dogs and even a pony. Virginia was a vocal supporter of local and national animal rescue efforts and organizations.

While Virginia will not physically be with us, those of us remaining will continue to feel her love and support and the words of kindness and encouragement she shared with us while she was among us. In that way, she will remain with us always. We take comfort and solace in knowing that her struggles are over. Her pain is forever gone. Her sorrow is no more. She is in her universal home, in the company of those she loved, and with those who loved her, at peace – always.

Virginia is survived by her mother Marjorie I. Minks, her daughter Autumn Woods and her grandchildren Roman and Stormy Scott and Gio Allen. Additionally, she is survived by her three brothers John D. (Skeeter) Minks Jr., Timothy W. Minks and Anthony G. Minks. Other close, much-loved family members include her son-in-law Vincent Allen, her stepmother Claudine Minks and her stepbrother Bill Gaddis.

Virginia was preceded in death by her son Thomas Johnathan (T.J.) Yost, her father John D. Minks Sr. and her common-law husband Rory Carver.

Family and friends will gather for a remembrance memorial on June 23, 2019 at Lake Wenatchee, Washington. The family wishes to thank Alan and the staff at Stevens Funeral Chapel for their kind help during this difficult time.
