SUMMARY PUBLICATION AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF OTHELLO In accordance with RCW 35A.12.160, this is a summary of Othello Ordinance No. 1530, passed by the Othello City Council and approved by Mayor Shawn Logan on the 22nd day of April, 2019. The full text may be mailed, free of charge, to any person requesting a copy. SUMMARY Section 1. Annexed Lands. Pursuant to RCW Section35A.14.300, RCW Chapter 35A.14, and RCW Title 35A, the City of Othello does hereby annex the following described real estate situated in Adams County, Washington, into the corporate limits of the City of Othello: All of Tax Parcel 2100490072372, also described as Tax #2372 in Tract #1, Farm Unit 7, Block 49, and further described as: Commencing at the NE corner of FU 7, Blk 49, said point being the NE corner of Sec 5, thence along the N line of said FU, S89°53'06"W, 50.06'; thence parallel with E line of said FU, S02°39'32"W, 30.04 to the S ROW line of Cunningham Rd and the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing S02°39'32"W, 206.30'; thence parallel with the N line of said FU S89°53'06"W, 206.30'; thence N02°39'32"E, 206.30' to the said S ROW line of Cunningham Rd; thence along the said S ROW line of Cunningham Rd parallel with the N line of said FU, N89°53'06", 206.30' to the True Point of Beginning. Section 2. Zoning and Regulation. The City's comprehensive plan shall be adopted for the area annexed by this ordinance, and these lands shall be subject to all City regulations. The annexed parcel shall be zoned R-2, Residential, until the designation is changed. Section 3. Existing Indebtedness. The entire annexed area described above shall be required to assume all existing City indebtedness. No portion of the property annexed herein shall be released from any outstanding indebtedness levied against it prior to this annexation. Section 4. Filing. A copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners of Adams County, Washington. Section 5. Effective date.
