Leavitt set to change plea on Thursday

SPOKANE — Former Warden City Council member and substitute teacher Michael Leavitt, who has been accused of two counts of possession of child pornography, has requested a change of plea hearing for Thursday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m., according to the U.S. District Court in Spokane.

Leavitt originally pleaded not guilty at a court hearing in Spokane on Sept. 20, 2018.
