EPHRATA — A storage building is in ruins following a Tuesday evening fire in Ephrata.

The fire reportedly broke out at a storage building owned by Barry Automotive on Basin Street Southwest. Firefighters with the Ephrata Fire Department and Grant County Fire District No. 13 responded to the fire and battled the flames for about three hours before getting the blaze under control. The Ephrata Fire Department will be working with the National Weather Service to determine if the fire at the building stemmed from Tuesday evening’s lightning strikes.
