MOSES LAKE - A Royal City man has been arrested for his role in a drive-by shooting last Thursday on North Grape Drive in Moses Lake, according to law enforcement.

Reymundo Jose Borjas, 46, was arrested by Ephrata police Tuesday afternoon and has been booked in the Grant County Jail on charges of drive-by shooting and unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon.

Police were called to the area of North Grape Drive and West Valley Road shortly before 7 p.m. last Thursday for a report that a male suspect, believed to have been Borjas, had opened fire on an occupied vehicle in the 900 block of Grape Drive, according to Moses Lake police.

Borjas reportedly got out of his vehicle, a black Honda Accord, and shot at another vehicle with a small caliber handgun. Though officers found shell casings and broken glass at the scene, the victim was not immediately identified or located.

Moses Lake police officials said that they have dealt with Borjas before. He has faced criminal charges in Grant County three times previously, and was found guilty of at least one charge in all cases.

Police ask anyone with additional information regarding the shooting to contact Moses Lake Police Department street crimes detectives.
